HIGH SCHOOL POSITION TRAINING GOALS
SATURDAYS JULY 25th – SEPTEMBER 19th 1:30 – 2:30 PM
By the end of camp, athletes should:
- Improve confidence and consistency in all six volleyball skills
- Develop proper volleyball footwork and movement patterns
- Learn how to maintain correct technique throughout the school season
- Prevent common bad habits that often develop during high school play
- Improve transition responsibilities on free balls and attacked balls
- Build stronger volleyball communication and leadership habits
- Increase game-speed decision making and court awareness
- Learn competitive problem solving under pressure
- Gain experience in live-game and tournament situations
- Improve discipline, body control, and efficient movement mechanics
- Develop better attacking, defensive, and blocking timing
- Understand how proper footwork creates better balance, power, and injury prevention
- Leave camp with training habits that transfer into both school and club volleyball environments
